About Jayme Scarfo, Clinical Consultant
Trained in the room with clients, and at the desk with the words.
How I Work
I work with digital health and behavioral health teams that create content for mothers, high-achieving women, and people navigating eating disorders, trauma, or postpartum distress.
I review and shape clinical content so it holds up to clinical scrutiny and still sounds like a human wrote it. My work helps teams improve accuracy, reduce risk, build trust, and make sensitive content easier to engage with.
Background
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and clinical consultant. My work draws from direct clinical experience in eating disorders, trauma, maternal mental health, complex risk, and the pressure high-achieving women often carry quietly.
I hold the CEDS certification in eating disorder treatment, and specialized training in suicide risk, trauma, and attachment-focused work, including CAMS, TTAD, and PIT.
I started the consulting side of my company because I kept seeing the same gap: content that was well-written, well-intentioned, and clinically risky. The difference between content that sounds supportive and content that is clinically responsible is often small, but important. I consult so that gap gets caught before a user sees it.
