Trauma therapy at a pace your nervous system can tolerate
Trauma does not always announce itself as a single event. Sometimes it is a childhood that looked fine from the outside, a relationship that taught you to read the room before you read yourself, or a medical or perinatal experience nobody named as traumatic. The result is often the same: a body that stays braced, and a mind that keeps everything managed.
How I work with trauma
I do not push people into their worst memories in the first month. Trauma work that outruns your capacity to stay present is not brave, it is retraumatizing. We start with stabilization, with what your nervous system is doing and why, and we build from there. My approach is attachment based, somatic informed, and relational, and I hold specialized training in suicide risk assessment through CAMS. When trauma and eating disorders overlap, which they often do, I treat both rather than sending you to two different people.
Who this is not for
If you are in active crisis or need a higher level of care, weekly telehealth is not the right fit and I will tell you that directly in the consultation.

Telehealth is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
