Therapy for eating disorders, trauma, and anxiety, for women who hold everything together
You are the one who holds it together. The job, the family, the calendar, the version of you everyone else relies on. Somewhere in there, food, your body, or an old pattern started running the show, and managing it quietly has stopped working. This is where you stop managing alone. I am direct, I pay close attention, and I will tell you the truth about what I see.
Who I work with
Adult women, 18 and older, who are capable and exhausted, navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and the identity shifts of motherhood. Many of my clients have already tried therapy that felt pleasant and changed nothing.
Currently accepting new clients.
What working together looks like
Weekly telehealth sessions from wherever you have privacy. I work from an integrative approach: attachment based, somatic informed, relational, with CBT and DBT skills where they actually help. I bring nearly ten years of eating disorder specific experience and hold the Certified Eating Disorders Specialist credential through iaedp. Sessions are not a place to perform being fine. They are a place to look at the patterns underneath, at a pace your nervous system can tolerate.

Practicing in Minnesota and Ohio under a Counseling Compact privilege to practice, issued through my Arizona license
Telehealth sessions only, Wednesday through Friday, 9am to 4pm Arizona time. You must be physically located in Arizona, Minnesota, or Ohio at the time of each session. I confirm your location at the start of every session, and that state's laws apply to our work that day.
$200 per 50 minute session, private pay. I do not bill insurance directly. Superbills are provided on request.
Many PPO plans reimburse a portion of out of network therapy. Check your benefits in about two minutes: eligibility.thrizer.com/empowercc
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before your first session. I provide one to every new client.
Is this the right fit
Weekly outpatient therapy is the right level of care for a lot of people and the wrong one for some. If you are medically unstable, in active crisis, or need daily support around food, you need more than I can responsibly offer, and I will say so in the first conversation and help you find the right program. I would rather lose a client than keep one at the wrong level of care.
Questions clients ask
- Do you take insurance?
- No. I am private pay. Many PPO plans reimburse a portion of out of network therapy, and you can check your specific benefits in about two minutes at eligibility.thrizer.com/empowercc. Superbills are available on request.
- What happens first?
- A free 15 minute consultation by phone or video. You tell me what is going on, I tell you honestly whether I am the right fit, and if I am, we schedule the first session. If I am not, I point you toward someone who is.
- What is the first session like?
- We go through your intake paperwork together, I ask a lot of questions, and you get a clear sense of how I work. You do not need to have anything figured out before you arrive.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- It is in your intake paperwork and I walk through it during the consultation, so there are no surprises.
- What if I am not in Arizona, Minnesota, or Ohio?
- I cannot see you. Licensing law is based on where you are physically located during the session, and I only practice where I am authorized. If that changes, this page will say so.
